The VP of Staff Relations plays a vital role in fostering positive and productive relationships between the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the staff of Woodglen. This position serves as a primary point of contact for teachers and staff regarding school-wide inquiries related to the PTA.
Primary Point of Contact: As the VP of Staff Relations, this individual acts as the primary liaison between the PTA and the school staff. They are responsible for handling and addressing teacher and school-wide questions related to the PTA and its activities.
Creating Teacher Sign-Up Sheets: The VP of Staff Relations is responsible for creating the sign-up sheets for teacher involvement in various PTA events such as the Book Fair, School Store, and Pictures. This role includes coordinating with teachers and ensuring they have the information necessary to participate in these events.
Teacher Gift Purchases and Staff Appreciation: The VP of Staff Relations works closely with the PTA to provide ideas for teacher gifts and the organization of Staff Appreciation Week. They help ensure that the school's staff is acknowledged and appreciated for their hard work and dedication.
Collaboration with Cultural Arts VP: The VP of Staff Relations works in tandem with the Cultural Arts VP to coordinate events scheduled during in-school hours. This collaborative approach helps facilitate seamless planning and execution of such events.
